Project 3
Project Brief: Interview Web Publication
Due Next Class (Oct 13)
🐌Very important: If scheduling your interview takes longer than expected, don’t delay your design work. Build your layout using placeholder text and images.
- Conduct your interview. Do this as soon as possible!
- Mock up the design for the entire interview page in Figma.
- Create a mobile version (375px wide) and a desktop version (1024px wide). Make the height as tall as it needs to be.
- Make sure the typefaces you choose can be used on the web (i.e., use Google Fonts or Adobe Fonts or something freely available).
- Make sure all text/background color combinations meet WCAG AA contrast requirements. Use the A11y – Color Contrast Checker plugin for Figma (or Figma’s built-in contrast checker).
- Don’t worry about designing the dark mode color palette yet. But add a color-mode toggle button in your layout.
- Find one example of inspirational long-form typography to share with your classmates in the #show-and-tell channel.
Delivery
Post your Figma file’s “Share Prototype” link in the #general channel.
