Project 3

Project Brief: Interview Web Publication

Due Next Class (Oct 13)

🐌Very important: If scheduling your interview takes longer than expected, don’t delay your design work. Build your layout using placeholder text and images.

  1. Conduct your interview. Do this as soon as possible!
  2. Mock up the design for the entire interview page in Figma.
    • Create a mobile version (375px wide) and a desktop version (1024px wide). Make the height as tall as it needs to be.
    • Make sure the typefaces you choose can be used on the web (i.e., use Google Fonts or Adobe Fonts or something freely available).
    • Make sure all text/background color combinations meet WCAG AA contrast requirements. Use the A11y – Color Contrast Checker plugin for Figma (or Figma’s built-in contrast checker).
    • Don’t worry about designing the dark mode color palette yet. But add a color-mode toggle button in your layout.
  3. Find one example of inspirational long-form typography to share with your classmates in the #show-and-tell channel.

Delivery

Post your Figma file’s “Share Prototype” link in the #general channel.
